No worries brother, I will have mercy.
The Zerg have no mercy. I think you are an imposter from the swine you call Protoss!
Some terrans find it hard to believe but we have our moments of weakness too...IN THE OVERMIND WE TRUST!
Porn AND Masturbation Induced Sexual Dysfunctions sounds like a great idea for a new section!
"NoFap/ Rebooting in the news"
"Hobbies" (where users could talk about various activities they've taken up to replace PMO)
I haven't read all the suggestions, but I like a "requests for support" sub-forum. It could be used for people who relapse, or just need support with anything life-related that they're struggling with.
My vote for.. Porn induced sexual dysfunction and recovery tips through nofap.
I'm kinda confused when I go to the journal logs on the forum section ages 25-30 etc. Cuz some logs are old from last year and here I'm thinking it was posted recently
Porn induced sexual dysfunctions definitely. That's what I look for in here is success stories about that but it seems a lot of the success stories just talk about staying away from porn or masturbation which is great too. But that's not the stuff that's giving me inspiration, only because for some reason I'm able to stay away from all that easily. My motivation is my girlfriend and being the man I can for her. I wanna hear more stories about overcoming the physical dysfunctions that come from all the porn and masturbation abuse.
This is a great forum section that I'd like to see as well. Nice to have all of this compiled in one easy to find section.
We could call it, SCIENCE.
In related news, Todd Love's new review was released today.
A social advice section like the one on YBR
How about a "NoFap International" section with subforums where people can post in different languages? We could have Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Arabic, Hindi, Swahili, Chinese and Japanese subforums... one for each of the world's major languages. That way people who are not as proficient in English can still use the site.
I second this!
Wouldn't this threaten to split up the community though?
I like how even though we all speak different native languages and even though some of us might have very poor English, we all come together to help each other out and work towards the same goal. I feel like creating language divisions would split up this very close and interconnected community.
True. This is a possibility. I definitely hear what you are saying. You have a point, and a strong one at that.
On the other hand, nothing beats expressing yourself in your mother tongue.
People should ideally feel comfortable to express who they are and what they are going through, and not worry or censor themselves due to poor English skills.
I guess time will tell on this one, but that is a very valid concern.
Yeah porn induced ED would be a good one, like a way for people to express their experiences and ways they've improved. Also a single thread could be interesting
Thank you for considering my concern!
I also agree that nothing beats expressing yourself in your native language, so I don't really know what could be a solution to this dilemma.
Would it be worth it to split up the community into various groups in order for people to be able to speak in a language they're more comfortable with?
I think that if this were to be actually considered by the site administrators, the best thing to do would be to have a democratic vote as to whether this feature should be implemented or not.
Of course this is all just hypothetically speaking
Good point, and a very legitimate concern. The only thing I can see preventing this from happening would be the limit of the Language groups. The majority of the traffic, and hence, the majority of posts, questions and information, will be in the English section, so if a user has any proficiency with English, they will find the English section more useful. The language forums will have less traffic and thus less threads, limiting their helpfulness. That isn't to say they will be completely unhelpful: they will be places for people to ask questions and discuss porn addiction in their own language. But they aren't going to have 1,000 threads like the Rebooting section. So interested folks will necessarily cruise through the rest of the forum as well.
Maybe we could do this with the groups instead of the forum proper?
Yes if there is no interest among the non-English speakers currently using the site, then I don't see this as a useful addition to the forum.
