Who else is gender confused and hates being a man?

The keyword here is hate. What did some wise guy say about hatred? Something that went like "be careful what you hate, for you'll become what you despise."

I think you need to look at your hatred problem with open mind. Or you'll poison yourself by your own two hands and blame the world for it.

Needlessly harsh. OP was just confused and needed help. Him being banned cuts him off from one possible source of it.

I'm not sure. I personally never saw him posting anything that broke the rules, he just seemed like he had mental issues and problems this site couldn't fix.

That... no. That's not okay. There was a guy, GhostWriter, that was complaining hardcore about moderators' excessive involvement before he got banned, but he was/is an acerbic and outspoken character prone to exaggeration so I thought he was overstating a problem. The OP clearly had problems beyond P, but there was good, helpful conversation for him up to this point and he needed it. Needs it. At least as badly as we need to quit P, he needs help. No, we are not the ideal crew to help him, but we're better than nothing.

That poor kid. Mods, if he was deleted for talking about something that wasn't directly a sexual health problem in this forum, that's crazy. Gender confusion, poor life circumstances, these are indicators of suicide. There's more important things going on here than keeping your forums curated, so if he wasn't abusing anyone or causing trouble, this was a severe misstep.

I fully realize I don't have all the details of the situation, but now I can't possibly know. I don't have any plausible ways to review his content and decide for myself.

 

I dont want to turn this thread into another "bash the mods" extravaganza but yeah, agreed. I wish we could know why people were banned, would mitigate a lot of confusion from other users.

 

I don't want to bash moderators either. I understand they have a difficult job to do. I understand this site attracts some weirdos. I understand we have rules around here, and rules don't mean anything unless they are enforced. This thread, though, was not objectionable. It deals with some potentially contentious subject matter, but it was being sorted the way normal Internet conversations are; good, helpful dialogue with the crazies chattering in the background. Now I can't see what else the OP was talking about, can't see his journal, can't see anything.

I just hope the guy can find some help somewhere else. He's in an untenable situation, and I stand by my previous assessment; he's a suicide risk. Unless he was trolling, of course, but if not then being thrown out of this place where he was getting some positive conversation will not have helped him at all.

 

I'm also gender confused like you.. many of us are with it here on noFap, it's mostly because of porn, so that's that. but to hate your own gender!? so many people have manged to reach this level, it's really crazy. this is like hating your skin color because the tone "doesn't make sense to you ,or doesn't suit you at all"... anyway one thing that stood out to me was, why does the word "men" give you a reaction? like dude I'm laughing right now because it's all just hilarious, correct me if I'm wrong but the way understand it is like this;
You hate men not because you hate men, you hate men because the environment around you influenced you to hate men, it's never about you mate, yes you matter, but it's about environment around you and how it effected you so far, I can tell that you're smart because you acknowledge that your parents aren't really contributing or helping you grow in anymore so now it's time to fix this, you need to take a big step.

And the big step is to get that damn driving license, it's the best thing you can do right now, at least that's what I know for sure..

Just be yourself. I wouldn't go as far as chopping off your penis or taking estrogen - because that's very unhealthy, but dress like you want to dress, like what you want to like, dislike what you want to dislike (cars, tattoos, beer, etc) and act like you want to act. You're confused about what a man actually is. A man isn't necessarily a slayer who goes around drinking beer, getting tattoos, banging thousands of chicks, worshipping football, loving cars, etc. A real man does whatever he wants and sticks by his morals, not giving a shit about what anyone else thinks about him - even if that means dressing and acting feminine. Being feminine wont make you vulnerable - only your insecurities will.

Let me give you some advice cause you're new. Being so blunt tends to get you moderated around here, even if you think you aren't doing anything offensive. Err on the side of being polite as much as you can to try and avoid drawing attention to yourself.

You know, Melk, it might help to at least scan more entries from the OP before throwing out stuff like that. He made it pretty clear his aversion to masculinity is based from an overcompensating and abusive father who promotes this same, over-the-top macho stuff, including treating women as objects as in the clip. He's not here anymore because the mods banned him, so no harm no foul, but maybe take context under advisement moving forward?

 

It's the internet, and some of us have issues. So please don't take anything I say personally. I have my own biases and problems and they might creep in.

There is a difference. OP's post is toxic to a certain degree, and if you look around from the perspective of a new user, you'll pretty soon run into all sorts of posts that make this forum look like a not so safe place for PMO recovery. And that's why I made that post. Even if one user (OP in this case got harsh punishment) it's arguably and very plausibly for the greater good.

Also, you joined after reading the terms? Moderation team has the final say. If you don't like it, don't join it. It is that simple. You guys who constantly cry about moderators to justify their actions, are doing this unique resource a lot of disservice. Again, if you don't like the way things are run here, don't join. Why make the experience of other people bad, because of your own inherent problems with authority?

From what I have seen, the staff does a great job, and probably is extremely overworked and does it for free, so I won't be the one to complain about it. Nor will I take anyone seriously if every 3rd post of theirs is whining about how other people got moderated.

Thank you, I will say what I want to say, as long as it's in keeping with the terms that I joined at. And, I don't think the mods are the bad guys, as some individuals are trying to make them out to be.
