Mine is Bodhidharma

He found the zen Buddhist school, taught the shaolin monks to fight so father of kung fu, spent nine years facing a cave wall in meditation.

Some believe he discovered tea. One day he was furious with his inability to stay awake while meditating, he is said to have ripped off his eyelids. On falling to the ground, they became tea plants.

This last one probably is not true but is kind of cool haha

Bodhidharma is one of my favs as well. Love the story about how he met the Liang Dynasty emperor Wu who asked, "We have built all these stupas, paid homage to all the Buddhas, founded all these monasteries, and supported thousands of monks.... what is the merit of this?" Bodhidharma answered "None whatsoever." Liang of Wu replies "Then who is it who stands before me?" Bodhidharma answered "I don't know."

He totally was not intimidated by the most powerful man on earth at that time. That's pretty badass.
 
I guess right now I would have to say Buddha. Although I dont even know much about his life, I just like what he has said.

Been reading a book on Diogenes (sayings and anecdotes) and he is a guy who used to masturbate in public, isn't it?

Even do a very wise madman what I like the most about him is his authenticity, and he used all his life in the search of truth, even do very radical examples to make his point across.

He is one of my favorite western philosophers, he reminds me of something in tantra called mahasidhas, which were crazy wisemen like him and had eccentric lifestyles. The point is wisdom goes beyond good or bad, decent or indicent, morality or immorality. A real wiseman breaks all concepts.
