It's simply a high you can get whenever you want. If you can get it even when there's not a woman around to get it from...then what's stopping us? That's why. Imagine a woman/partner is like a restaurant...but you don't have to go to a restaurant to eat, you can eat your shitty home cooked food too.

But like others said my analogy just touches the surface..in my case I usually used porn as an escape, even if I didn't do it. I was feeling down? Porn. I was feeling bored? Porn. I was feeling insecure? Porn.

I'm married to a man who I offered sex to every day, in any amount or way he could possibly want. Still, he used porn behind my back for five years, denying me sex almost every time I asked. I'm apparently not as fun to him as porn.

I really feel sorry for you, i am not going deep in private issues, but a college had share an article about coolidge efect https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/ybo...rn/porn-novelty-and-the-coolidge-effect-2011/

I think usually men like nee women, if you don't want him to search for another he must see you always new, it is difficult for a women to cope high as what is happenning in the porn industry, but try to wear new issues or have new stories that copes with your husband mind.

I am sorry if this looks weired but if i have such a problem as your husband i will advise my wife to do so to help me overcome my problem.

Sis, why don't you introduce him to the NoFap community and help him reboot and rewire?

If your wife/gf/fwb/fb/plate isn't 'ready' for sex when you want it, she doesn't find you attractive - simple as that.

Why are you married to him?

I would love to do that, I'm just afraid he would refuse. His reply has basically been "my friends wives have no problem with it!" and "I swear to not do it anymore".

I can't be a different woman every night. Women like to see different naken men too everyday, but I chose monogamy, I chose to get married, I'm not a victim and I frankly do not understand why men can get away with bad behaviour just because "boys will be boys". Women have the exact same desires, but would never be excused for them.

This information about his secret life hit me like a ton of bricks three months ago. Had I known before, I would never had married such a man. Now he has promised to stop, that it meant nothing and was just a way to get rid of unwanted erections. Well, he is rid of all erections now, since he has developed PIED. That's his gift to me after five years of my total devotion and availability, intimacy with a rope...

As long as he says he won't do it anymore, but he actually does it means he is an addict. Show him videos about "your brain on porn, etc." Tell him that he might develop mental health issues, such as HOCD, Parkinson's desease, alzheimar, memory loss, etc.

  10. First of all, how you gonna married a woman who has low sex drive when you have a high one. Secondly what if your wife getting it somewhere else and not you.

We didn’t have sex before we were married. Sex drive fluctuates my friend - the older we get, the more kids we have, the less sex we have :). When we were first married we were having sex 4 times a day. Now we do it maybe once a week. I’m trying to not feel “entitled” to have sex whenever I want. I can exercise self restraint and I can also take into consideration the feelings and desires of my wife. I’m not concerned about her getting it from someone else, she is one of the kindest, most loyal and faithful person I know. She has never done anything to make me question any aspect of her love for me.

Simple really, if her sex drive doesn't match up with yours then you suffer for it and porn can help tip the scales, you can love a woman and find out she might be happy with 1-2 times a week where you might want it 5 times a week, you can't choose these things when you fall in love so you adapt. She also might not be in the mood (that time of the month or a hormone problem can cause it) while you are and so you go down that avenue as well. Can also be a time thing, in my case while I worked 70+ hours it didn't leave a lot of time for relationships or time to find one, I had a few co-workers that were down for the sex-friends route but when they quit or you just fall out of it then you either go w/o which sucks or go down the avenue of porn to keep yourself grounded.

But like all addictions it just takes one use to start down the path of self-destruction.

Great idea, I will definitively look into that, thank you! Yesterday I saw brain scans for those suffering from p addiction, and God it was scary!
