Why an accountability partner?

I have an AP, we're of quite similar ages and both in the UK, we've got quite a lot in common, so it's helpful to be able to share with someone who already half understands. You often see people appealing for APs who have similar religious backgrounds or age profile. I know some people go beyond contact here and have APs with whom they share email addresses and even phone numbers so they can have even more availability.

It's also a private forum, so you can send stuff that you might think twice about posting publicly - albeit anonymously - in your journal.

I suppose the idea is that you're more likely to worry about "letting down" someone you have a bit of a connection with than a bunch of strangers who may or may not comment on your journal.

We exchange messages pretty much every morning and I've found it very useful - I hope he has too, he says he has! .

It might not work for everyone and like everything it's just a tool in what is always, in the end, a personal committment and personal action.

 

It s about mutual help. Well I personally dont belive in it. We have the whole of NoFap to support us anyway.
