Why does blowing a ton of money on porn seem much worse than blowing it on anything else?

So when I say porn I also mean sites like cam sites, onlyfans etc.

But something I have noticed is if I ended up spending money on sites like this, I actually later feel really quite depressed about it. Particularly if I have been stupid and spent quite a bit of money.

But the thing is if I blew money out partying, on alcohol, cocaine, or just simply wasting money while intoxicated. Why does this not make me anywhere near as depressed or feel any where near as stupid as spending money on wanking content? Even if I lost money gambling, I still think I would feel less depressed about this than wasting money on wanking content.

The thing is you're wasting the money all the same, the money is being wasted on stupid things you don't need, that aren't good for you. But again blowing money on wanking content seems to make me feel way worse afterwards than blowing it on any of those other things.

It makes me feel much more stupid blowing it on wanking content compared to those other things, much more pathetic blowing it on wanking content compared to those other things.

 

Yeah I think a big part of it is I find spending money on porn much more pathetic than those other things I mentioned.

 

I think you might have a point there lol. That probably is why.
