For the same reason that living on home delivered pizza will keep you from finding the best food in town. For that you need to get out when you have an appetite. Kill your appetite, and there is no reason to go looking. This isn't rocket science.

As a result you will have less motivation to find one (or to do anything).
And even if you do, women will sense that you are not really finding them attractive, which is a huge turnoff.

I think it has to do with how us men are made up.Men by nature are hunter/gatherers in the past we did all the hunting and exploring.Also when we saw a beautiful woman we did the manly thing in the last century and we talked to them.Now with technology and high speed internet porn only one click away.We don't have to go out and talk to women.We could just have different women to fap to everyday.This causes our brains to feel we are actually having sex with these different women when that is not the case.

 

There's also hooking onto some absolute fancy. One way to look at it is the libido is lost and therefore no further real-life partnering. Another way to look at it is that it could have one of two possible results:

• Either one feels guilty after PMO

There's been a lot of things posted on this thread, but there's not one single reason. There's many different things that pmo does that are all working together against you. Abstaining from pmo is the only way to stop those things from effecting you. Also most guys outside nofap pmo at least on a somewhat regular basis, and that puts them miles behind you making you stand out more.

 

Porn tricks you into thinking you have fulfilled your sexual purpose and desire, without actually putting in the required work to be able to attract the female sex in real life. You could be living in your moms basement, eating french fries every day looking like shit and still be exposed to a multitude of virtual sexual satisfaction with merely the click of a button.

What this does however is stunts your social, mental and physical development, especially if exposed to at a young age without any real world experience. And when you do go out into the real world, you become frustrated and depressed as to why women don't find you attractive or why your such a beta cunt around them. Thus, you go back to porn because it doesn't reject you or make you feel bad, restarting the vicious cycle, keeping you trapped in porn hell and destroying your dating life.

Women have natural evolutionary traits to be able to detect suitable male partners for suitable offspring. Being, "Nice," doesnt cut it if your life is in shambles. You have to find value you can offer back by getting a direction in life, whether it be physical health/looks, financial security, social confidence etc. Make her feel like you are the one she should pick, give her a reason why your the best for her. Because she is submitting to you her body after all, and shes not going to waste it on some loser addicted to porn.

I think porn draws us inward, makes us less social, makes us enjoy life less, less outgoing, less caring, less loving, etc. etc.

So not only does it hinder our relationships with women but with all other people as well.

 

Because real women are not anime characters with flawless bodies.

 

Because you numb yourself to real intimacy, and you have something to hide from the start.

 

As of 15 days in, being PMO free has changed the way I look at women drastically. I'm terrified of the "consequences" my mind is making up about this move. But now here's the difference: my libido is offering a counter argument far more persuasive than any motivational video. Women are everywhere. It's not about finding real women, it's about seeing the ones in front of my goddamn face.

 

If you strike out or don't get anywhere with real women, porn is there as your safety net.
