Why I started with NoFap challenge

Hello everyone, I am writing this thread with a very shy idea about NoFap and how this is going to pan out in future, but I would say that a part of joining this community is because of the emotional pain that I am suffering due to porn and it's effects. I am no longer the good version of my own self. Everyday, I try to quit this habit but to my dismay it lasts for only about a week on a maximum scale. I have lost my spirituality, I have lost my competitive edge and most importantly I have kind of lost my sight about future.
However, I want to get a hold back on my life and feel confident again and so in search for that today I am joining this community hoping that this would change the course of my life for good.
