Why is it so hard to read the Bible?

What was less complex about it? Human nature has been the same for thousands of years.

If you haven't, I would encourage you to read the NIV translation of the Bible, and dig into the New Testament. God gave us scripture to reveal himself to us, so he'll give you a mind to understand it if you pray and ask for that beforehand.

 

The bible was to be read in story form this is why so many people have a hard time.
