Why semen ejaculated during pmo and normal sex different?

I've read, too, that there are actual physiological - and not only psychological - differences between sex and masturbation. What I read said stuff about the prostate, I think there's far more blood going through it during sexual intercourse than during masturbation (which is why masturbation hardly helps to prevent prostate cancer, in case someone should use this argument in favour of it). But no guarantee on this one, since it's been a while since I stumbled across the article. I also can't offer any source. Do you have one?

That's quite the opposite of what I just claimed. Well, I have no idea.

I don't get nor believe this point, as sex and masturbation are entirely different acitivites. You can't learn what you like during sex while masturbating on your own. You can be an expert at masturbation, but still be totally clueless during intercourse. Can't help but judge that, while the rest of the article is informative, this last point is plain stupid.

Sorry, reading the article I kind of forgot your original question In general, I go for the liberal view that occasional masturbation probably won't hurt much. Nevertheless, NoFap shows that you can feel great without doing it, and people in the medieval times haven't died because they considered it a sin, either. On the other hand, too much sex is probably harmful as well. Just listen to your gut feeling! I am always skeptical about science proving this or that when it's coming to complex systems such as our body or mind...

I can't speak for the actual make up for semen, but i am pretty certain that the chemicals released in your brain during masturbation vs sex are different. I believe sex releases more of Oxycontin, the 'love' hormone and masturbation, as we all know, releases more of the dopamine chemical.

Besides that i think the reason sex is better for you is because it releases different chemicals in the brain, i can't say semen would change, neither does it makes sense to me
