I've relapsed for years now and I'm too numb to feel anything now. I used to feel the side effects and guilt of PMO and not that I have almost all the side effects and life is somewhat ruined I can't find any reason to not masturbate anymore. It's like oh nothing will happen if I do pmo so why not do it. Please tell me why I should quit pmo forever for I'm too numb to self reflect on anything now.

You've already answered. Because we are addicted to PMO nothing in life can compete with this artificial kind of pleasure. Within few days of abstaining you'll feel better.
Fall 100 times, Fall 100 times more, untill you get there. Good luck pal!

I know guys but right now my situation is that I don't feel anything bad with doing pmo. It's like I'm numb to all the havoc and darkness that I'm already in

You don't feel bad about contributing sex trafficking, sexual abuse of poor men and women? If not for you, do it for them.

  6. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. We can give you a million reasons not to relapse, yet it'll all be a waste of words if deep down you don't want to follow the advice.

What kind of attitude is that? Do you want to be a slave to PMO for the rest of your life? Man up and turn your life around.

This sentence is extremely confusing. You used to feel the side-effects of porn addiction? Or are you experiencing them now?

If you want to have an intimate relationship with a woman at some point, and you're experiencing erectile dysfunction and delayed/premature ejaculation - then that's definitely going to get in the way, and is a good reason to quit. If you prefer restricting your sex-life to watching porn and jerking, then that's also a valid choice. Just realize that you can't have it both ways.

Yes brothers You're all correct. But what I'm trying to say is that may be I've been living with all these side effects for too long that it has become normal to me and even PMO. Like I don't feel anything now. COMPLETELY FU***NG NUMB.

"Normal" really shouldn't be an issue. Fapping and abstaining are both normal.

Main question should be: are you satisfied with your life at the moment?

No not at all. Can't have sex, brain is numb, dopamine receptors are fried, body becoming weak, face lost its looks and glow due to continuous fapping, still relapse around 3-4 days.

These are the moments when people start questioning their way of living and committing for a change. Much like Genesis story. You have to deep analysis where your urges come from. And more important how you'd prepare for them. It takes time and constant learning. For some people it might take years of week-streaks and relapsing untill they identify they control the urges. And with all duo respect to PMO addiction, people have managed to go through much harder struggles. Think about what your ancestors had to go through so you could typing this thread. Never give up!

Well, then there's your motivation. We eventually grow accustomed to even the worst of circumstances, but try to imagine a life that's better. It's also a life that's different, so it will naturally be outside your comfort zone, but I believe it will be a life you prefer. I also believe that it's within your reach. Good luck!

  14. Every ejaculation weakens you tremendously. There are many reasons why you should stop in terms of the benefits you will directly experience. You’re preventing yourself from becoming the best version of yourself, not to mention the damage you’re doing to your body.

I’ve got a friend who is a slave to mainstream thinking, and part of his lifestyle is daily busts to porn. No joke he looks years older than his age, has a tonne of grey hair and health problems are emerging. He’s always shattered and his body is failing him.

I've seen a lot of the threads you make around here, and you seem to be a very negative person. Has it ever occurred to you that your negativity might be making things a whole lot more difficult for you than they need to be? Just remember that we all create our own reality, and the energy that you put out into the universe comes around full circle and returns to you. Quantum physics is in the beginning stages of verifying this line of thought too.

Self-satisfaction to the point of quenching your desires is the ultimate defeat. It seems to me you have the genuine will to become someone stronger than you are right now. And to be strong one's gotta learn to strive in adversity and create comfort in the hard process of dragging a new path to yourself. You're in this state of mind where you want something but you don't want to commit to the sacrifice it takes to get it. Reflect upon this contradiction, maybe some part of yourself isn't really in the pursuit of change.

  18. What do you mean about "numbness"?

I'm currently on Day 3 of Dopamine Detox. I haven't seen any significant symptoms (withdrawal symptoms), but I realize I spend more time surfing on this website to get smallest dopamine hit.... Is that a state of numbness? (Procrastinating on my studies to surf this website, to not feel numb inside?)

There's one man said that I shouldn't put too much pressure on my very first days of rebooting. Although, I still want to try at my best (learn by myself 6hrs+ a day, meditate and workout...)

You shouldn't continue. That is for for me another victory over a lesser man then.

You are clearly okay with being below average. And that's alright. Just look already 10 years in the future and think about it, if you will have regrets or not for not being the best version of yourself. If you want to waste all of your potential, that is up to you.

Nothing everything is about you tho. You are letting you and everyone around you down. You could change the world, you could take care of your family, you could do so many things.. But you just wanna sit in your dark room with your dick in your hand, so that's cool..

  20. And OP, I have started this journey for over 2,5 years. I have had many relapses, I have even been in many months of relapsing (stuck in relapsing cycle),...

But you know, everytime I lived in that degenerate/bad lifestyle, I was always having high stress, and BIG desire to CHANGE proving that I, inside my heart, purely wanted to become a REAL MAN (having a happy and fulfilled life).

Why do you should continue to walk on this journey?

Remember your past, who you TRULY are? Not your addict self, not when you started to get addicted to PMO.

But you before getting addicted to PMO.
