First of all, i want to make it clear that english is not my native language so excuse me for any typos or grammar mistakes, i will do my best.

I'm writing this in order to thank this great community that gave me the chance to "reborn" , now its my turn to give back.

Assuming that you are reading this you may have a problem with long-term porn use and it harms you in many aspects of life. I'm a 22 years old male who tries to recover from this addiction by the age of 18 and considering myself mostly cured with a clean 250 day streak and a very healthy mindset dealing with it. Age 18-19 got wasted as i was having some streak but always ended up relapsing and binging so don't think that you will need 4 years or so to recover. At the age of 20 i said that enough is enough and i will fight it till the end. I recovered from addiction and it's problems (pied for me i will say more in a while) in relationship so i was having O's but i didn't use P and i didn't masturbate at all.

There were relapses. Lots of fails during those 2 years. Don't expect it to cure it with one try. its 99,999% sure you won't but i will be proud if you do.

Wish someone had told me this at the start of this journey.

Dont expect it to work with one try.
I had dozens of fails. Fails bring you one step closer to victory.

What if you relapse after a streak?
If you relapse say that it is okay (it is, all recovered people have failed countless times so why do you?), dont binge, dont pmo again just because you did it once and reset your counter. This is the definition of stupidity. Brain change still happens. Numbers say nothing to your neurons and your brain. I was stupid enough to do this, please don't be a moron too.

Now you relapsed, what you have to do?

    GOLDEN RULE OF RECOVERY

AIM FOR A GREATER STREAK THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE AND NEVER EVER BINGE.

Say you relapsed on day 7th now aim for 10-14 days.
First of all you will go to one streak month faster and once you go to great streaks (say 40 days) it get a lot easier.

I want to say more about how i cured my addiction but i will make this post way to long so feel free to ask me anything
