Crazy crazy things. I just seen this girl at my work, I wish they weren’t allowed to dress this way. She’s low twenties I’m sure and had on skin tight spandex, she has a very nice body. You can tell she works out, and does squats. I actually did good and didn’t stare, but I noticed. Which is good, I’m sure I will always notice. Lots of guys at work talk about her, pretty dirty things, at first I felt bad for her, but look how she dresses? She’s begging for attention, In the wrong way. She should dress like that at home, not in public, I mean those pants are SKIN tight.

Anyways, when I seen I felt this rush through my body and head. It’s insane. My brain was begging me to stare and to even follow her to keep looking. My anxiety and stress is up suddenly. I made it mad! I want to just check out my wife only tonight for v-day

I am very happy for you and that things are getting better. I’m still very fresh not even five months but the fight or flight symptoms are horrible although subsiding a little bit better now. I still have PIED symptoms and I am looking to at least five months before some real results happen.

I don’t know about you but did you have PIED symptoms as well for the first few years of NoFap..?? I truly just want to get over that as soon as possible. Some say that it might take a year but I guess that depends on the addiction level.

My sleep is starting to slowly get better too. There is firm time to time bought me of anxiety waking up and then that makes me start the thoughts about everything else. Usually meditating music by me does the trick or I can fall back to sleep. The morning wood is there but psychologically need more time to perform when intimate I think.

I would like to at least MO to sensation or visual of a girl I like but was afraid it would stall my progress as well. I see it has helped you at least get a bit out of flatline I’m sure.

Because it takes more time than you think to heal. Rather than 90 days, it’s more like 5 months to a year to recover. And i did 5 months and even then that wasn’t long enough. Things got a lot better though that’s for sure. But for the first 70 days, i experienced so much pain and withdrawal symptoms and change. You can’t go wrong doing the right thing. Eventually, things will get better if you persist. It just takes longer than 90 days for sure

definitely would not recommend MO. That will reopen the doors. Lust only leads to death, i wish i could tell myself that in the heat of the moment

Youe are right that it takes longer than 90 days. Only af the close end of four months has Anhedonia started to lift a bit and a lot of anxiety and panic has gone down to very little symptoms. The PIED symptoms is the only thing left and that is because I escalated a bit into the porn I was watching but not fetishes.

I think Fenix Rising was saying about 5-6 months to really see a better turn around on symptoms.

How were you with PIED symptoms is any.

Well, at this point I don’t believe it was. A lot of the withdrawal has gone down like the anxiety and restlessness. I have been hoping for a like a six month recovery as opposed to a year with the amount of exercise I am doing, yoga, mediation to help my mind. Sleep is still a problem but will eventually get better. The libido is still down but will get back soon I believe..

Ooh boy, today's been one of those days.. Woke up horrible and feeling like a zombie, it feels like my head was about to explode at any given moment, terrible headache...
nothing can be tougher than a flatline, it's literally the worst thing I've ever been through in my whole life, by far, it's insane, even a death of a father/mother/daughter/son would not get as close, cause in those cases you would feel extreme sadness, but with a flatline is different, you don't feel shit, you feel nothing, absolutely nothing whatsoever, this emptiness is just unbearable. It's like I'm frozen, hibernating.
Anyway, I can relate to pretty much all symptons he described, with the exception of suicide thoughts, but the rest.. holy crap.. can't seem to get enough sleep, loss of appetite, zero libido, zero erection, low energy, blood tests are all okay, this is horrible..

Do everything to prevent relapse, do not trust only your own will. Cause if you relapse once it will be much worse, it can be worse.

I couldn't read every post in this thread @saneagain, but bro you got to try and eliminate other possible addictions and treat yourself well. I had really bad allergies for a while, so you might want to look into going to an allergist. The nightmares could stem from video game addiction, internet addiction, and from any recreational drug you may or may not be taking to boost your overall health.

Just be kind to yourself, bro, but also really go on a major elimination diet. Eliminate anything that could be bad for you! Take away everything harmful, and every time 2 weeks pass by, try to reintroduce one of those eliminated no good items, and god I hope you feel better.

Think of it as being on a ship. If you don't want to sink into deep frigid waters toss out the garbage on deck and pray you find the thing that's bothering you. The good news is once you get rid of the toxic item your brain will heal, and restore your natural balance because that's what it does when you tossed away the trash.

Hope you get better and carry on strong.

Not really. If hes in this state for several years then it indicates an underlying health issue. This is all assuming he has been doing hard-mode the entire time with no relapses. Everything he described could be easily attributed to life-style and/or health problems. I'm well aware of PIED symptoms.
