I did SR for 150 days and then relapsed 12 times during a period of 50 days.( m)

Now back to it, day 12 i am going through the same withdrawal symptoms and the worst are insomnia and anger.
It happens all the time on day 10 onwards Especially after relapsing several times ( no binging)

Anyone else with such a problem?

  4. I just relapsed today on day 11.

I was feeling high levels of stress, and overall negative emotions. Mostly feeling like I wasn't doing anything fun ever. Like just continual work and serious stuff. That is how I convinced myself to relapse just now, just to have fun and get a break.

Insomnia for sure. I've suffered from insomnia for as long as I can remember, but now that I'm actually starting to heal, my experience with this is strangely evolving into a positive. My past sleeplessness was without a doubt because of stress and anxiety. This is now almost completely gone and I find myself laying awake from time to time purely because of this crazy amount of CALM ENERGY. Where I needed to lay and rot in bed for at least 10 hours, I now jump out of bed after only 4-6 hours of actual deep sleep.

On anger. Not so much...more irritation, agitation. But because the energy inside of me is calmer, an irritated/agitated state now clears very rapidly.

"Time heals al wounds" Guys and Gals, keep on stacking the days. Keep strong. This is not bullshit. We are dealing with actual chemistry...the bio-chemistry of your being...your brain. We are wondrous creations. There will be damage, but by design all will be reversed and healed if we give it time...

  6. dont tell a ebola patient with a skin infection or someone with bone marrow cancer that time heals all wounds. We are not all conditioned robots but think before speech.

kidding huh! Came out a bit agitaded. I am on day 1 still… after a relapse. So forgive my offense please mate

jice that your energy is more positive! I can not seem to quit this addiction.
On day 5 i lose control often… addicted for like 25 years.

    Nice joh of you!

My first attempt at SR has been successful. Going over 11 months now. Never had any side effects or any negative issues.

What I’ve learned with Nofap it’s a cycle of ups and downs sometimes you will have good days where you feel on top of the world but sometimes you will feel quite low due to your dopamine and mood, this is part of the healing process and something you must endure in order to fully rid and heal yourself from the damage that porn has caused.

Withdrawals, flatlines and PAWS are very real part of this journey and I believe that vast majority of people will experience it sooner or later.

My withdrawals are pretty consistent, never leaving me for a long time, always coming back but with less and less intensity.

The most pronounced withdrawal symptom for me has always been insomnia. That has always been the hardest one for me but since September when I banished myself looking at any screens after 8PM ( also installing blue light filters on my devices), things have improved significantly and insomnia doesn't have enough fuel to fight me anymore. What a relief after two years of hell.

Anger hasn't really been part of my experience. I believe it depends on your personality. Some people like me will withdraw more with anxiety, nervosity and such and other people will feel to be more agressive for a change. We are all unique.

My withdrawal symptoms are typically insomnia, anxiety, nervosity, brainfog, fatigue, dry skin, white tongue and tired eyes.

Stay strong. You're fighting here the strongest energy in the universe. It's a tough fight. But you can do this and you will :)
