Worried about my situation ........

    I'm new to the NoFap community I joined this community 4 days back intending to quit my this habit but last night ended my streak..... I feel bad and worried about my situation.
    My problem is when I complete the daily study I go on the internet for relaxation but suddenly I searched for porn and within the second everything changed and I masturbate ..... I do not watch porn videos now but I'm towards attracts pics of pornstars. models and actresses ........ please help need help
     
  2. Welcome to the community! :)

    It's like bodybuilding... You need to train harder to get better.

    So same with teaching your body and mind not to watch porn. Practice it everyday and do your best. You will fail sometimes, but don't stay down.

    Over time you will become better and better at it and one day you will no longer need it or crave it.

    All of it starts with what you do today and every single day after that.

    just quit internet in late part of the day
    all you want is to relax so , find different relaxing activities :
    read a book , do a shower , cuddle your pet , call a friend , talk to your family .
    The goal is substituing the porn habit with a new one

    Squaric ,i think they use the term PSUB or Porn Substitute which can be another trigger. you blocked one trigger which is the porn video, but your mind is saying these pics are harmless. At the end of the day, dopamine is gettin secreted , you are forced to look at these pics and pretty soon, you found yourself in this situation. It is a battle against our minds, it's hard.

    I have a good suggestion for you buddy. You should read a book before sleeping. It will improve your sleep quality as well as keep it will keep you busy in reading. I read a non-fiction book every day. It changes a person's life dramatically. I can suggest book like atomic habits to start if you are interested.

    Your comment really helps me. After my relapse i feel frustrate. and I want escaping and abandon all. But your words let me konw I have did sth, and I'll go on and get closer to my goal. Thanks

    Don't worry bro we all will conquer this addiction...just bring positive thoughts to your mind always think positive, don't watch all that crap picture, keep yourself busy, sleep early, keep a fixed sleep and wake routine....and believe in God. Have a spiritual thought...avoid social media for atleast a month
