Would you still get morning wood if you had venous leak?

I used to get morning wood every single day but now with these erection issues I only get them about 4-5 times a week. If I had venous leak I wouldn't have morning wood at all right? Or if I did, it would be very weak?

If you had a venous leak, you might get a little blood flow, and then it goes down really fast. If you can maintain partial erections in a morning wood for a few minutes, doubtful its a venous leak. Of course, only way to know for sure is to consult a Urologist, doubt anyone here is a male sex parts expert, lol.

I get a full erection but when I wake up in the mornings it goes away fast.
Now, when I jerk off to porn my erection goes down THE SECOND I am not aroused. Before, my erection would last a while even I f I was no longer aroused or if I even touched my self. I honestly cannot think of any physical reason why this would be happening. It has to be something psychological like anxiety or even PIED. Every time I bring up PIED to a doctor they say to not beleive stuff on the internet and that there haven't been any studies to prove that porn and masturbation are harmful. I want to try and see a pshyiatrist for at least a week to see if it an anxiety issue. I would feel better if my morning woods weren't so inconsistent. I'll get morning wood for 5 or 6 days straight and then no wood for about 2 days.

I think that PE is a common PIED symptom, and no PMO made it worse for me. I read that reverse kegels it's the best solution for PE. I didn't try kegels yet.

My guess is you've always masturbated sitting, and laying down? I'm not an expert of course, but there is some evidence to suggest that causing yourself to only get erections manually in the seated/laying positions can weaken your pelvic floor muscles, which play a role in maintaining an erection, helping to trap the blood. Might explain why you lose your erection once you stand up, and why it doesn't hang around long after stopping stimulation. Also might explain weaker, and less erections in general.

If you think about it, makes sense, the natural way for a man to have sex is standing up, or kneeling. So our tendency as modern guys to jerk it in passive positions likely does degrade that ability.

Yes. I have always jerked off laying down on my bed. Wow this makes sense. Is it reversible though?

Not something you will hear on this forum a lot, but if you have no intention of doing a reboot(up to you if you think PIED is an issue) maybe start jacking off standing up. I remember at one point I could barely do it, but I took a few weeks off from doing it totally, then started doing it standing up, and slowly it got easier, and easier. Think my pelvic floor muscles just got stronger, and I reconditioned my penis to respond in that position. Also used a really light grip to avoid death grip. I also made an effort to stand up more, avoid sitting down through out the day, which I was, cuss I worked 12 hours at a desk, so I got a standing up desk, might have helped. All personal conjecture, but it seemed to have worked for me.

No, not at all. Morning wood happens multiple times a night. Most of them you do not even notice. But Venous Leak is literally draining the blood that comes into the penis. This process will start at the second blood fills the penis. This means that within minutes the blood will have left the penis. Nocturnal erections last around 20-25 minutes. So when you wake up with morning wood, chances are that that nocturnal erections was there already for multiple minutes, maybe even more, giving you evidence that Venous Leak is VERY unlikely. I feared Venous Leak a lot before, but having boners that last at least a minute without noticing blood loss is great evidence. Having morning wood is a wonderful sign that you have NO Venous Leak.

I've had two erections in the past after my PIED/flatline onset, so I'm guessing that I don't have venous leak?

You are correct. If those 2 erections lasted for more than 1 minute at least without loss of erectile quality for that time being, it is impossible to have Venous Leak. I studied nursery, and trust me, veins are marvelous little fellows. When you have Venous Leak, blood will flow out in seconds. Remember, the is not that much blood in an erect penis, so every drop of blood that is being lost by a Venous Leak will be noticed. Plus, Venous Leak is very hard to obtain by injury etc, because your veins already know how to function mechanically. So if there is injury to it, it will restore and remain healthy function.

If you apply to any of the following 3 sets, you are free of Venous Leak:
1--> Do you or have you had nocturnal erections in the past 2 months? If yes, you can't have Venous Leak
2--> Have you had quality erections in the past 2 years? If yes, then it means your veins knew how to work properly in the past, and will very likely do so now too.
3--> Have you had erections during the day in the past months that lasted for at least 1 minute without loss of quality of the erection? If yes, again, you can't have Venous Leak.

I worried about a Venous Leak some time ago as well. My urologist told me it is very unlikely you get Venous Leak from an accident or masturbation. She had never heard of it. Venous Leak happens for 90% to guys who have a genetic onset that makes veins close improperly. This is a genetic thing in 90% of the cases. So once again, if you have had quality erections ever before in your life, preferably the last 5 years, then you can't have Venous Leak.

Remember that PIED shows many symptoms from other urological diseases and conditions. This is why many NoFappers think there is something wrong with their tool, because so many of our ED symptoms are close to Venous Leak, Peyronie's, pelvic floor problems, prostatitis, and many more. Do me one favor, do not f*cking google any of your symptoms or the conditions of listed above. I did, and it completely ruined my life for 6 months as I was scared to death I had any of those, and it turns out, I don't.

I'm here if you want to talk or discuss anything. Like I said, I am a nurse and know quite a lot about the urogenital area, so I can help you with any questions you've got. But from what I hear and read about you, you do NOT have Venous Leak. You are having much more morning wood than I do, so if I don't have Venous Leak, you absolutely don't as well.

Hit me up if you have any questions.

I don't remember whether or not my two semi erections lasted more than a minute each, but they happened twice. Otherwise, my dick is small and shriveled in an acorn state. Can this still constitute as venous leak or not? Or is this indicating something more on the lines of PIED/Flatline?

Very hard to say. It is very common for NoFappers to have weak erections during their reboot process. I had/have the same. But what you are describing right now are classic symptoms of PIED/flatline. Many guys report shrinkage of their penis when entering the flatline. I noticed the same when going through my many stages of NoFap that one month my penis was bigger when flaccid, and another month it would be really small

I see. Well I also think that my symptoms are of PIED/flatline based on my mental symptoms along with the changes to my genitalia symptoms alone.

They probably are. It is never just physical. There is always a psychological component to it as well.

Do you mean venous leak has a psychological component to it as well or just PIED/flatline?

I mean ED always has a mental component. When having PIED, it is your physical brain that's changed that makes up the ED, but the stress, fear and all other emotional things contribute to that too if left unregarded. For as far as I know, it is really, really difficult to obtain a Venous Leak. You would have to really injure your penis bad. Veins are flexible and are elastic. They can withstand a lot. Venous Leak is mostly genetic, but CAN in some cases be caused by really bad lifestyle choices like smoking, drinking, high cholesterol, no excercise etc.

I worried about a venous leak for months as well, but then my morning wood came back, wasn't like I was as a teenager, they last several minutes. As the guy said above, some of the issues guys face with PIED tend to sound like a venous leak, and if you don't know what PIED is, well, it can cause a panic for lots of guys.

I'm fairly certain guys with venous leaks can't even get hard from masturbating, which most guys with PIED still can, but they have to start soft.
