Would you still get morning wood if you had venous leak?

Not sure. It probably is also because of PIED. I had soft glans a lot of times too when I was suffering from PIED

No, the head, and the back side of your shaft should never be hard, it's called the corpus "spongiosum" for a reason, it does fill with a little blood, but the structure of it simply dictates it will never be "hard". It's your two side chambers, the corpus cavernosum which make the penis hard.

The side chambers even when rigid, you'll still be able to press into them a bit with your hand, squeezing, they're not steal rods afters all, lol. But when fully engorged they will give your penis that "full" "rigid" look if that makes sense.

Umm, not sure what you mean by that? You mean flexing your pelvic floor muscles to make it stand up?

Yes I have always been able to do that. This flexion is governed by 2 muscles, the bulbospongiosus and the ischiocavernosus. Every man can flex them. When you are fully erect these 2 muscles are working at 100%. The less aroused you are, the less they are stimulated and the less hard they contractand function

so what does it mean if i cant do that anymore?
    would the muscles be weak?

Possibly, sounds like it might be time to start a kegel routine, should get it back into shape. Those muscles play a role in trapping blood in the penis.

If you are unable to do it anymore, it could mean 1 of 2 things.
1: your pelvic floor muscles are weak and thus can't really contract that well. To fix this you need to strengthen them
2: your pelvic floor muscles are overworked and so tight that they feel like they can't contract more, because they are already in their maximum range of contraction. If this is the case, you need to learn to relax the pelvic floor

thank you both! at least I know this is revirsible. i feel like it may be too weak because even when flaccid i can't really flex or pump my penis that well anymore. @Daxos it isn;t in the maximum range of contraction because when I'm erect I can still flex it but only for a second and then it involuntairly goes back to whatever position again. It makes sense since i don't have a problem getting an erection while being aroused in person, I also don't have low testosterone and it is unlikely I have a vascular or venogenic caused of ED. This pelvic floor makes the most sense since the reason why i even thought i had ED was because my penis felt weak and numb in a flaccid state when i wasnt even tyring to get an erection.

I think i will try some pelvic excersizes as well as no masturbation until I see the results.

thank you both so much for all your help and answers! I wish you two best of luck and I know we will all over come this erection BS and go back to the sex life the way it was before.

Sounds like weak pelvic floor yes. BUT, there as specialists who can confirm this. I've been with a pelvic floor physical therapist for some time already and she learned me so much about my pelvic region and helped me learn to relax the entire region. I'm sure such a physical therapist can help you train your weak pelvic floor, if they are indeed weak

i told my doctor about weak pelvic floor and he told me I am too young to have that.
I am seriously getting so fed up with these doctors. I am taking time off of work to go to them and they all turn me away based on my age. It's pissing me off. This last time I was so mad I left the appointment mid way as he was talking and I didn't even say goodbye. I drove home driving 80 mph I was so angry. Are these the health "professionals" we're supposed to trust? They don't even bother ordering any tests. It's pissing me off.

A regular doctor doesn't know much about the pelvic floor. Anyone of any age can have a weak pelvic floor. Go to a physical therapist. A pelvic floor physical therapist. He/she will understand your symptoms right away. Seriously

This, same advice I would give about male hormones, regular docs are borderline useless as they don't really cover it much in medical school.

i'm rereading this now and came across something u said thats important.
since those muscles play a role in trapping blood and venous leak literally means the penis doesnt trap blood does that mean this is releated to venous leak?

i tried to do what this guy did in this video and i couldnt do it fully. i had to squeeze really hard and it only went up a little and came back down. i cant control it really. i wonder if being a tad bit overwieght may cause this as well.

Nvm. i wont post the video since its a video from a porn site lol. it only has a guy in it so there is no way ud be aroused but still dont wanna risk it for u

I ended up getting a hormone panel done out of curiosity, my testosterone came back in the lower end of the normal range, and I was also vitamin D deficient, well below the lower normal range, and certainly not optimal. I figured my low testosterone wasn't a medical situation since my vitamin D was really low, and guy's with low vitamin D are going to have sub-optimal T levels. Long story short, I decided to start spending 30 minutes a day out in the sun with my shirt off, in short shorts, maximizing skin exposure so my body could synthesize vitamin d. Did that for 2 months, some days couldn't get any sunlight due to weather, just how it is. Ordered a blood test, went back to the lab, and my T levels went from the low 400s, to the high 700s, almost doubling it. So I certainly don't have hypogonadism, which if a guy does have it TRT really would likely fix that guys sex drive, and erections. My vitamin D levels ended up being in the middle normal range. My erections are solid now when I'm with a girl, though I don't get random ones really, which is whatever, I suppose that goes away once you're into your 20s at some point anyway.

This worked for me, not saying it will work for other guys, but I've been encouraging guys on here who have been battling PIED for a long time with no progress to get their hormones checked, pointless not to. For me the low vitamin D was because I work nights, 2am-12pm, and would generally just go to the gym right after work, then home to sleep. I can very clearly say I went weeks at a time without more than 5 minutes with direct sunlight.

Sorry for responding late to this but I just had a quick question about VL. You said that having boners for at least a minute without noticing any blood loss is great evidence against VL. A couple of days ago, I was able to get and keep a full erection for a little over a minute while watching my favorite porn without even touching myself. This was also while standing. Does this rule out VL? Thanks
