So I just read an article posted by BBC three in the UK and I am still a little bit in shock. I relate so much to some of the things discussed here and had no idea porn was causing me problems.

I am a 27 y/o male in a 3 year relationship with a female. I have been using porn for probably about 15 years. I have know for a while that it has become something unhealthy in my life but didn't know how to stop.

Only in the last couple of years have I suffered with p.e and weak errections (sorry don't know the term for it). I assumed p.e was due to my partner not having as big a sex drive as me and therefore not wanting sex as often, but now I see it could be me.

I am afraid to discuss this with her as she might find me disgusting. So I have come here for support. Do you feel nofap can help me? Can I reboot whilst having a sexual relationship.

Also can anyone explain what hocd is?

    Thanks

    Just another member.

Welcome, I'm glad you're here. "HOCD" is shorthand for "homosexual obsessive compulsive disorder." I have no idea if there really is such a diagnosed disorder; but it is a term used by some here to describe their experience: namely, that they believe excessive porn consumption leads them to have unexpected homosexual attraction or interest. There is controversy over this.

At any rate, keep coming back!

Thanks for replying. Yeah I can imagine that it would be controversial!! I will have to keep reading. Already I have answered some of my own questions looking around the site. Like probably normal mode is best for me so I can still have a relationship with my partner. Can't wait to see the benefits!!
