You have always been your highest.

See the difference between someone who always looks at stuff and faps pr0n and someone who sometimes gets doubts but falls back as the following example:

There are 2 birds in a tree, one in the top and the other below. The lower one eats the fruit of the tree while the higher sits quietly in its majestic glory. The lower eats good and bad fruits, guided by physical pleasure.

When it sometimes takes a bad tasting fruit, just like when someone sometimes sees temporarily that pr0n and fapping is not good after all, or sees a video that he does not like, he looks at the higher bird. He sees that the higher one has no need for both good and bad fruits. He realizes that this does not give real pleasure, only one's own consciousness is sufficient.

The lower bird sometimes wants to get just that high and then tries, but still goes back to the fruit. Just like someone who tries in vain to stop the bad practices.
Sometimes a very bad tasting fruit comes unexpectedly and he immediately looks up, beholding the better higher ones. He also wants to be like that.

After the same has been repeated several times, and he gets higher and closer to the higher bird, the light from it appears to be reflected against that lower one. When it gets high enough, the lower one seems to disappear.

It turns out that the lower one never existed and was always the higher, it was just a reflection of his evil side only looking for pleasure, and that is a temporary thing. So are people.
