Talking to female NoFap members and reading their accounts is a major trigger to relapse. It while directly spike phantasies and ideas about lesbian porn and former porn consumption.

I think it is a challenge
We are so used to see women as objects, that even when they need help with a problem all we tend to do is fantasise about them faping.
Try to take the erotism you put out of it

I do have to say something about this. Whenever I come on NoFap, I find the stories of women much more interesting and appealing. It's not of much of help when you yourself are trying to get out of the phase where you M-ed seeing M-ing girls on Internet, and you find stories here how much girls M-ed when they were addicted!

I'm not against anyone. I wish I had a will strong enough to read and sympathise to PMO addicted girls, and not fantasise about them!

Yeah, I disagree. I might ask for some female APs soon as i mostly have guy ones but I feel I benefit from both....

With the guys...Ok here's the thing. I think a lot of us..me with my erotica and sex chat and guys and some girls with porn, a lot of our interactions with the opposite sex --- not all! was very sexualized (online, I mean) and I think it can be healthy to have APs of the opposite sex because it's part of developing HEALTHIER relationships with the opposite sex?

But I'm older than the guys usually so I don't think they'd fanticise about me fapping and although I'm pretty, I'm hardly a high school cheerleader type!

The plus about FEMALE APs, is that they can understand about what it's like to be doing NoFap with a female body which is what I've got too, and what challenges we face, (a lot for us is the same as the guys) and what benefits.

So, I think I like having APs of both genders, really, male ones and female ones. I just have to be careful not to get TOO many! and get overwhelmed!

My point BEING! I think some of the guys here feel the same way, it's a step towards having healthier online interactions with women, and relating to us in a healthier way, perhaps. ??

You are absolutely right about this. When I first started NoFap, I was VERY anxious about reading or interacting with the female members, since part of my addiction was with cyber-chat. I got so paranoid I disabled the PM feature of my profile. Over my reboot (on Day 123 right now), I have learned that my fear was just that - fear. My interactions ARE healthy and I only learned that by having direct interaction with the female members.

With that said, I have seen some comments from male members to female members that to me indicated either the male member wasn't taking reboot seriously, or the male member honestly didn't "get it".

@YourShiningVeganHero I think you may be projecting some of your own issues onto the other male members. Not everyone has the same triggers, and not everyone engages other members in the same way. There's nothing wrong with you sounding a warning to other members who may share your same triggers however. I think you mean well and I hope nobody takes any serious offense to your post.
