Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum stuff as I have yet to use websites such as Reddit, so any help with that would be appreciated.

Anyways, my name's Adam and I'm 14 years old and I have just finished up freshman year in high school. It's been quite stressful, as you might imagine, and has worsened the "snowball effect" of my pornography problem. I can't exactly remember when it started, but who cares!? The important part of all this is FINISHING it! I go to a Catholic high school and it has done it's job in getting me to realize that I need to kick this whole porn thing. Especially a chatsity speaker we recently had (check out her website at jackieandbobby.com). But now I am faced with the common question "HOW!?" and that's where I stumbled upon the Sacred Sexuality Project which led me to NoFap.

Well enough boring backstory (sorry about that), more about my goals, Ect.

Problems: I don't have too many problems with masturbation and a few with edging every once in a while, but it's the pornography that is my real problem. I have extreme trouble resisting "urges" even though I know the right thing to do in the moment. So low self-control basically.

Goals: To stop this snowball effect while I'm young, to be able to face a person and not think "Look at them, amazing, and who am I? Just a boy who watches porn to make himself feel better," and to take away this barrier that is blocking my pathway to manhood. Also, to step out of my "bubble" and stop having so much social anxiety, to be who I truly am.

So that's me, thanks so much for reading this probably too long post, again I'm new to this forum stuff. I do have so many social problems in person, but they just float away on the Internet and I think that an accountability partner is the solution that God has sent me! If anyone knows what I need to do to for that, please reply and tell me how. Anyways, hope you all have a nice, NoFap night.

Hello and welcome to the community. Here you're going to find a lot of good people and a lot of good advice, but remember that in the end it's you the one who's going to face the challenges: no one can carry your own cross for you.

I've made two documents where I sum up basically all I know about this:
    https://docs.zoho.com/writer/published.do?rid=jqmi41a67d6a5c1dd430cae0e1ce820f3d6dd
    https://docs.zoho.com/writer/published.do?rid=jqmi4a3dfbba597dd471d9ef9bdf9716f94b6

Two books that you have to read:
    -Rational Recovery, by Jack Trimpey.
-Changing for Good, by James Prochaska.

Congratulations for deciding to quit porn at such a young age. It's the right call.
