I don't think the fact that she came from York University means that it's a bad school. I'm sure it's a fine institution, for the most part.
^ I believe Ridley's profile picture is the character of the same name from one of the Metroid games. But I can't work out which one it's from. ON TOPIC: For so so so long society has condemned all sexual thoughts and urges, through religion and tradition and whatnot, to the point that it was super unhealthy, breeding rapists and messing with people's heads, repression causing urges to come out in a different way. As we progressed, scientists and doctors pushed for more open attitudes towards sex, masturbation etc., exploring one's body and sexuality instead of repressing it, and I think that's totally right... HOWEVER, I think that lead to a fear of talking negatively about porn, masturbation etc. in any way making people appear to be super conservative, or making them appear to be wanting to oppress people. It's always hard for humans to agree on something which is a grey area, we always seem to have to pick black or white. Nowadays with the internet I think it's super important to have a discussion that looks back in the other direction a little - Porn and masturbation can be healthy at first, but what the internet has turned it into is not good in the slightest. We're all so messed up by it, and we're continuing to mess up each new generation of kids more as they discover their sexuality only to immediately have it fucked up by material designed for people as jaded as addicts.
I found the picture via a google image search for 'Ridley'. The art itself is from a video game on the Super Nintendo called Super Metroid.
