It stars Christian Bale, who is born into a society without 'feelings' and bans/kills anyone (sense offenders I think they were called) who begins to 'feel', i.e listen to music, look at paintings, read books, admire literature etc, a society with absolute nothingness but to follow orders, and take their daily 'PILLS', that prevent them from feeling. Long story short, so Christian is hired to find, arrest or kill these sense offenders and destroy any artifacts. However, one day he stops taking his 'PILLS' and begins to 'feel' again. In a particular scene, at an arrest, he discovers a room full of books, colour, art and music and he becomes very emotional, he starts walking around touching these artifacts until he stumbles upon a record player. He then plays the record and classical music fills the room. Suddenly, he sits down and begins to cry as tears run down his face.....................................................This is how I view the struggle with PMO in my life and my journey towards VICTORY over PMO, once and for all. Let's not give up on hope my nofap brothers and sisters .
Yeah, underrated movie. PMO is like that pill for me, it makes me numb, turns me into a shallow drone of a person. Ironically, first thing Christian had to do after he stopped taking pills was to control and hide his emotions from others to survive. Not soon after that he had to deal with some of the worst negative emotions. Makes me appreciate advantages of the pill. On the other hand traumatic experiences allowed me to grow the most in life. Its a struggle either way. I might watch that movie again.
