Lately I've been drinking too much coffee and energy drinks..and I'm experiencing extreme fatigue and stress..my body is literally shaking ?..is caffeine good for health or bad? Share your thoughts please .
Caffeine negatively affects: 1. Memory 2. Respiration & Metabolism 3. Sleep 4. Kidney function It won't kill you but keep this in mind- plants produce substances like caffeine (and strychnine, ricin, etc.) to ward off herbivores. It's not even meant to be good for you.
This is a difficult line for me since I've given up all sodas and kool-aid ever since I started this reboot (I've never had energy drinks before) and devoted myself to water completely. It's difficult since I still drink one cup of coffee every morning and I only have tea when I go out to eat. The caffeine, for me, doesn't affect my sleep since it's usually out of my system by the time I go to bed and I believe that my memory problems are the result of brain fog (from years of fapping and watching porn). Now with that being said, is that okay to do or even with my caffeine consumption being limited down to the levels it's at now, am I still cutting myself short?
The fatigue is probably from the energy drinks, they are high in sugar content and are most likely wiping you out after the brief caffeine high. A lot of caffeine doesn't cause anxiety it just enhances what was already there by stimulating it, because that's basically what it is, a stimulant it makes you more alert. Caffeine isn't inherently bad, but too much of anything will start screwing with you, you're just consuming too much. If you want my advice, cut the energy drinks, they are enormously bad for you, and cut coffee consumption down to a couple modest cups a day if you like it. Of course if you've been doing this for a while you're gonna go into some serious sugar/caffeine withdrawal which can almost be flu like symptoms depending on how bad it is. You could have extreme headaches, muscle weakness, and serious brain fog but that will only happen for about a week, then your body should start balancing itself again.
I don’t like coffee and not even the smell of it but i used to have a little to “wake up” and “focus”. But not anymore. I have pretty bad reaction to drinking coffee. It makes me shaky,a bit nauseous, my heart will start pounding, I’ll feel like I can’t take a good deep breath and just overall sick. But not all people experience the same thing. So I’d say it’s most likely from the energy drinks. Cut them off and see how it goes. If you still feel the same then cut the coffee down!
caffeine actually is good for you, in small doses of course, people in japan have been drinking tea for thousands of years and that has caffeine, and guess what? Japan is the healthiest country in the world and has the longest life expectancy, so tell me caffeine is bad. https://www.caffeineinformer.com/top-10-caffeine-health-benefits you get jitters from to much caffeine btw, things like green tea have just enough to active the positive effects and will never make you jittery, even if you have 3 cups a day, green tea does not even come close to the recommended maximum caffeine does for a day, now to much coffee will definitely make you jittery, or energy drinks which have a whole list of negative effects on you, trust me i drank amp and rockstar for 7 years, stick to green tea my friend, it also is one of the healthiest drinks on earth. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/top-10-evidence-based-health-benefits-of-green-tea
Talk to the med books chap. It's your 2 minute Google search and isolated life experience vs my Biochemistry book written by 20+ doctors; I know where to place my faith.
Explain to me why japan has the healthiest population on earth and the longest life expectancy than?, they drink multiple cups of caffeinated tea a day. I guess all of japan lives isolated huh?, i also now where to place my faith, not in some book but in reality. And of course exceeding the caffeine limit will have negative side effects.
Riiiiight. That's the only thing they do right? Wake up, breathe, drink coffee, sleep. They definitely don't have one of the most balanced diets in the world. And their healthcare definitely isn't free (or subsidised) and provided as a common national insurance. And gosh dang it; Japan definitely doesn't have one of the most advanced medical care in the world. Oh and it's not like Japan is an isolated island, and thus safe from diseases like rabies, and a host of other lethal diseases found on mainland terrain. None of those factors contribute to their 80+ life expectancy. It's the coffee. It has to be the coffee, doesn't it?
I wonder why they call green tea one of the healthiest drinks on earth than, that cant be true because it has the dreaded caffeine right?, come on man you know caffeine is not bad.
Apple seeds contain cyanide. Who's dying from eating it? That's my point. If you're going to debate a point, at least try to use common sense. At this point, you're just trying to prove yourself right. By all means- go ahead and drink your tea. Put caffeine in a pill and shove it up your ass for all I care. But don't go around spreading your incorrect and incomplete opinion and advising others. There is a reason you're a patient and not a doctor. This is that reason: you don't know what you're talking about and aren't taking the proper steps to correct yourself. Talk to me when you actually read some Biochemistry and understand the real effects of caffeine.
Lol you tell me not to spead misinformation but you think you are not, ok know it all believe what you want, go have fun playing with your books.
In this thread we discover that Kegger owns a green tea business. In all seriousness though bro, what my man Asmo is saying, in large part comes down to: -correlation does not equal causation -just because green tea contains good ingredients, doesn't mean the caffeine in it is good for you I would add that you should bear in mind that a lot of the hype around green tea is designed to market it, and exists in a culture which doesn't generally acknowledge the negative effects of caffeine. Personally I go for that Green Rooibos tea- caffeine free Roobios leaves, which have been treated in a similar way to how normal tea leaves are treated to make green tea. Chock full of antioxidants and tastes damn good. I think I'll have a cup right now.
No. It's a correlation. Now, if you're already anxious, caffeine raises your heart rate which makes you more anxious.
Caffeine definitely makes me anxious and stressed. I don’t drink coffee, just tea and usually even one tea makes me feel weird and very anxious anymore. I’m gonna have to start making my own decaf again.
I have always been a heavy tea drinker..... Since age 10-11 And I am anxious most of the time..... But anxiety from pmo is way worse than caffeine
