Porn induced insomnia!

Discussion in 'Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunctions' started by Abetterbrain, Jun 5, 2018.

  1. If your insomnia is caused by excessive masturbation, you destroyed the dopamine system just like me ... it seems that dopamine plays an important role in this process many complain about the same thing, and for me the problems with sleep have appeared with the appearance of ed. It can't be a coincidence. The improvement will be after months of abstinence, I recommend the interruption of everything that means rise of dopamine, for example computer games .... And especially the elimination for months of orgasm whether it's sex or masturbation!!!orgasm is a dopamine explosion,it is the one who brought you into this situation. At first it will be horrible ... it will drop to 0 dopamine in your nervous system it will take months or even years to get back to normal but there is no other way.

Alex things get a whole lot better, takes a lot of time to resolve and for your body to regulate hormones appropriately.

  4. Any form of excitement triggers dopamine and then you will have a very hard time sleeping because sleep requires a decrease in dopamine and an increase in serotonin which is a precursor to melatonin. This is the same reason why video game addicts (like I once was) can stay awake to the wee hours playing never ending RPGs like Skyrim, WoW, etc.. and not feel the need to sleep even after playing for 12+ hours straight and then go to work at 6 am the next day. The instant these gamers remove themselves from the dopamine source, i.e. video games, they want to pass out. I suggest staying away from all forms of excitement before bedtime and eating stuff like turkey and other foods that have high levels of L-Tryptophan, which is a precursor to serotonin.
