Why does nobody in the US live at number 12 or 42 or 30? Every time I see a US show, people live at 1,547 or 1,216 or 3,005. The roads cannot be that long, surely?
There’s a famous road in Southern California named Sepulveda Boulevard that’s over 42 miles (68km). In my area is El Camino Real which goes over 40 miles (64km). There are lots of very long city streets in the cities across the US.
There are houses and businesses along both roads. Also there are short roads that use long numbers. I live on a road that’s not even a quarter of a mile long and my number is five digits.
