Another physical effects up onto the ones already listed in this thread Erectile dysfunction Lower sperm count Acne Weaker bones Lower stamina and strength Slower muscle growth Affects memory Lessens immunity response of a body and also it's overall regenerating ability Abstaining reverts those back to normal in about 3-9 months, but depends on an individual of course.
Same here, 21 years old. Back pains, pain in chest when breathing... If i'm being honest it's basically every muscle in your body that hurts everyday I've seen some people say this all fades MOSTLY after rebooting, for some it came back every once in a while.
Have you experienced any type of chronic pain? I have lots of pretty severe chronic pain that I suspect may be connected to overmasturbation, but I havent seen many people with similar problems
Would you mind being more specific with what problems it caused you? I suffer from a lot of chronic pain that the doctors can't seem to figure out. Bad muscle pains (sometimes feeling like they are tearing), burning nerve pain, heart burn, breathing issues, and sleep issues. I know its probably a long shot to think its related to pmo, but its the only thing I can think of, so I'm looking for some similare cases.
I have similar issues. How bad is your pain? I have both muscle and nerve pain that I suspect may have been caused by pmo. For me, it has a huge impact on my life. I've had to quit my job (physical labor) and move in with my parents. Its been awhile since I indulged in pmo regularly, but I still relapse every few weeks or months, so I'm thinking it may have kept me from healing

@brahmacarya For some reason they wouldn't let me reply to your comment, so here it is... Thanks, that was very interesting. Its crazy all the symptoms this addiction can cause. Hopefully we can all reboot and get some healing. I've been trying for years, but my actual streaks havn't been that impressive. My highest was about 80 days, but when I didn't see many (if any) health benefits I got discouraged and gave in. Since then I can barely get a month. From some of the things I read, it can take much longer to reboot and heal the minda nd body, so I want to try again and avoid getting disgouraged. What'd your highest streak?
Based on some studies in drug addicts (e.g., https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0059645#pone-0059645-g001), it takes from 9 months to more than a year of abstinence to reverse an injury caused to the brain. My longest streak was 218 days. Now it is a lifestyle and I no longer count days.
@brahmacarya (still can't reply to you for some reason, I get an error, so I have to tag you) Have you noticed health improvements in that time? Sorry if you said this in the other post, but if you did, I missed it
Yes, I experienced significant physical (e.g., improved digestion, metabolism and physical performance) and mental improvements (e.g., no depression and social anxiety) during that 218 days streak. By its end I was almost a fully functional, normal human being.
