I have lost a lot of hair to the point where I am almost going bald now.Maybe in another 4-5 years I will have to pull off the skinhead looks permanently. But have any of you guys consistenly lost hair during you phase as a PMO addict, cause I always did? Lets hear it from you guys whether hairloss due to PMO is a fact or myth.
While the science of balding is not clearly understood, most scientists agree that testosterone has a role to play. Access amount of testosterone can lead to hair follicles losing their effectiveness in susceptible individuals.
This is one of those statistics that came from one study with minority suggestive evidence but no follow up studies to confirm or deny it. This happens frequently these days as scientists are always trying to make some outlandish claim to get them published. (like look at all the things that are said to cure/cause cancer - sometimes they claim to do both). however i did hear that man-buns are causing male baldness because the hair follicles are being pulled too tightly in a direction they don't normally fall haha
I can't say for sure. Before NoFap I would take hot showers, Fap and have a lot of scales of dandruff on my hair. All of this has led my hair to fall a lot. I'm not bald tho, neither I know which one caused most damage
Testesterone is Responsible for Hair Growth. You throw away it in plenty during M&O. So stop it ar you will have no hair.
it would be interesting to know if any conclusive studies have been done,if it was a factor im sure many men would stop PMO immediately, i do know that testoterone plays a part and im pretty sure baldnes does occur in a hereditary manner through genetics however it can sometimes skip a generation or an individaul offspring, case in point is that my dad went bald in his late 20s then my 2 older brothers went bald also in their late 20s but it somehow skipped me as im in my 30s now and i still have hair, my 2 older brothers look very much like my dad(facial features etc) where as i look more like my mother so we must have a slightly different combination of genes in our physical make up etc, so i really think its a bit of a lottery, hair in general is a very strange thing as in my 20s i did suffer from a condition called "alopecia" where huge sections of my hair literally fell out over the course of a week and i was left with huge bald spots all around my scalp, i was convinced that i was going bald but then went to the doctor and he said i had alopecia and that its a common condition that can effect both male and females, there are many reasons why this can occur and "stress" is one of them, but after a month or two my hair started to grow back as normal and i havent had alopecia since, either way i hope it doesnt get you down too much as going bald isnt the end of the world, now i know thats easy for me to say as i still have hair but every guy that i know that is bald is either going out with or are married to beautiful women (and i mean it these women are hot stuff) they are just regular guys, they are not rich they are not body builders or anything and their wives/girlfriends seem to be highly attracted to them regardless of them being bald, (its ironic because ive got a good head of hair but im still single and i really dont think my hair is going to be the main factor why a woman would be attracted to me) i know for a fact the reason why my bald friends have beautiful wives/girlfriends is down to their personalities alone, i know that each of these guys did struggle to come to terms with going bald but they did everything that they could to not let it dent their confidence too much and because of that they are very happy and content men, also i know you like metal and i know that long hair etc is a bit of a metal thing, but again some of my bald friends are huge metal fans and musicians etc and they shred and headbang and go to shows just like they always have done.....hair/fashion does not make the man.......only metal makes the man!
I second that.I kept the short look for a long time.grew it back again and will shave my head again and go for the short look once the hair sprouts back on.
I believe it's a myth. I've been a porn addict for the last 17 years, and I still have hair like the fur of a grizzly bear. They say that if you eat a lot of onions of any kind, that it will improve your hair growth or at least make it more coarse. However, I don't believe that either although I love onions. My boss is only 34, and he has been balding quite badly over the years. I think the problem is mostly due to bad genes, at least that was the case for him.
