I never realised what a problem my porn addiction was till about 2 years ago, when I begun my first serious relationship. I hide what I look at from my fiancé through shame she has caught me out so many times. I have stopped before for a good period but I find my self relapsing and getting caught in the shame cycle. I began looking ay porn from about 13 and soon found the variety of porn available, everytime I finish I have no pleasure I just feel I am letting my self and my family down. I have overcome so much porn is my last vice I am ready to stop.and take back control!

Of course dude, first of all, you have to be aware it will not be very easy, but the most difficult achievements in life are the most rewarding and satisfying. You will go through maybe sadness, hornyness, lack of energy, etc. But don't allow this to control your actions, I have some personal advice for you that has worked for me, avoid everything that is sexual, porn, videos, pictures. Control your thoughts, don't let a sexual thought grow in your mind, I mean, it's normal in this journey to have sudden thoughts but be aware of them immediately and just let them pass, don't react to them. Consciously control yourself at the very second you have that thought before you even start to get horny. Just think of the end result always.
Thank you so much you know its stupid Iv put off joining here for so long because I was embarrassed about my problem, but this is a god send having people to talk to openly. I have this constant extreme butterfly's atm its like a cigarette craving but amped all the way up. When iv quit before I find that I'm still faping which seems to aid the relapse.
