It's not a big victory, but it's mine, and I want to say thank you to God and so many others, including this site, and people here, for the help that got me here! It's not about a victory lap so much as taking a moment to notice just how GOOD it feels...to feel good. To be free. To have proved wrong that voice that said, you can't do this, don't try, stay here with all this porn... But I'm not dwelling on 30 days. I immediately created a new counter. Now it's 40 days. Nothing against anyone who sets it for 60, 90, or longer, but--I'm trying to keep humble. Thank God I made 30. I easily might not have. SOOOO many times before I failed. And--I've made 28 or 30 days before, only to stumble. It's still one day at a time. This was my little victory celebration; now it's over. Now back to work, and keep working the plan! That's what will keep me feeling self-respect, and integrity, and freedom.
