Serious Roleplay?

Hey is there anybody on this forum that has participated in serious roleplay I'm not talking about Darkrp on Gmod but actual serious roleplay, like WoWrp, SWTORrp, HL2rp. Rp, where character development and the story is more important than character attributes like you, would see in tabletops.

Kinda curious. Flirting with a few ideas.

The world itself is a kind of serious roleplay. We are all wearing masks and partaking in different roles. We assume personalities that change on the occasion and we put on performances to get the results that we want.

 

what does WoWrp for instance mean?

 

WoWrp = World of Warcraft rp

I shouldn't have used acronyms my fault.

 

I see no need for roleplaying in an RPG. Seems a bit excessive to me

 

I've never really enjoyed the leveling part of an RPG but I always enjoyed participating in stories with other characters. That's the great thing about rpgs is that it accommodates a variety of interests.

 

Yeah. My imagination doesn't work that way. But I can respect it
