Try cold showers, they usually take the edge out. During the evening try using as less electronics as possible. Also maybe going sooner to bed, you'll have less temptation to think negative things or rather negative temptations.
WEAR yourself out with activity and exercise to keep your mind/body busy, wind down in the evening, shower and go to bed. It's good for you ALL the way around.
