  2. Aw man, hahaha, I was wondering what that trigger warning was all about...

Yes, his facial expressions are priceless - indignation, disbelief, contempt etc. It was SO funny when he called himself an Air Marshall.

That's the first time I've seen it, and, indeed, him. Once seen, never forgotten.

    Thanks again ...

  5. That entire act is one of his best. He was a natural.

  6. @DemonSemen that was one if my favorites from Robin Williams.

Oh dude ... George Carlin is a damn legend. He did 12 different HBO one-hour specials over the years.

I didn't care for him as much when he'd get on his political/anti-religion rants, but his stuff on everyday experiences and the English language was brilliant.

Exactly ! I thought his mockery of the way English is abused by organisations like airlines was spot-on, and VERY intelligent. I could tell he was angry with the stupidity of it all.

I'm English, and I haven't seen many American comics.

BTW, I read your post about legalising drugs, and was very excited by what you said about the Mexican cartels. Yes, it would be wonderful to queer their pitch.

I've seen Louis CK, Tom Segura (twice), and Bill Burr at their live shows when they came touring in my area. They are 3 of my fav's. If you ever get a chance to see them do what they do in person, it's worth it.

  13. Carlin was fucking awesome. Smart, funny, master of language's nuances.

  15. Surely if they or the organiser of their show put their full show on YouTube then it must be ok to post it here.

  16. I think this is funniest thing from Tim Hawkins.

  17. I really enjoyed comedians in cars getting coffee, great interviews.

If you're into it, check out "Talking funny" by HBO, There's Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais and Louis C.K. talking about comedy in general:

  20. Lol that's a good one too. I got to see him live once, along with a couple other comedians whose names I don't remember.
