Hello all, I'm on Day 8 of NoFap. Since beginning I've found myself being more attentitive to my girlfriend and also being more creative. I've sketched 8 of my favorite characters, not badly and have learned how to write some traditional Chinese characters. I've been tempted to look at the website where I used to get my fix. Today I had a browse, but didn't cave. Still though think that it's crap I'm still tempted to look. After looking, I distracted myself with sketches of Goku and Batman. Whenever I feel the temptation, I try to watch the Don Jon trailer and other clips to remind myself why I'm doing this -- the pursuit of a better me.
It can take a long time for those sensitized pathways to fade. "Looking" only makes the recovery far longer.
