Since I was 14-15 years old, I've been masturbating to porn twice daily most days (at least 9+ years).

My habit never stopped when I got into a relationship with my girlfriend. Whilst it didn't affect our sex initially, at this point I believe it's a key - if not the sole - contributor to my under-performance.

I came clean about 2 months ago about my habit and told her I was attempting to stop (only ever had a 4 day and 3 day streak). However, after the 2nd week, I was just about back to my usual ways. I lied about how well I was doing after this point. I told her tonight that I was lying.

Essentially, I should have done this a long time ago. I need to try whatever I can to completely kick this habit before it either completely ruins my current relationship, which it already might have (and if so, so it doesn't ruin any future relationships).

Have deleted all apps/files which I used to use. Hoping this is the beginning of a long, successful journey.

Thanks for sharing. What's your plan to overcome porn and masturbation?

  3. Hello and welcome to NoFap! It's good you came clean about your addiction to your lady. It's real women that can really help a man overcome this, so since you're in a relationship now, if she's helping you, consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

Consider creating a journal so others can track and support you! Build support by supporting others.

    Plans are at the moment:

    1. set fail-safes by blocking sites on my phone and computer,
    2. set and stick to a goal (thinking 90 days) incl. starting a journal on this site,
    3. find someone to be accountable to,
    4. identify my triggers & avoid them, &
    5. think of how I can involve my partner to help me too.

Hopeful that this will all work.
