What Defines Something to be True?

    Very well said! I think many people confuse the difference between how we perceive truth verse what truth actually is. The perception of truth CAN be relative. Truth in itself however must be objective.

    Let me give you my opinion too :)

    I will give you some quality's of truth
    - Truth is not subjected to time or place
    - Truth molds everything while truth itself can't be molded
    - Truth is most dominant
    - Truth is the undisputed fact
    - Truth sets free
    - Truth is simple and often also very logical
    - There was truth when there was nothing. There will be truth when there will be nothing.

    Hope you have a idea of how I perceive truth :D

    This reminds me of Jorden Peterson when he said that once you find something that you hold true, you hold on to it with all of your life and put anything on the line for it. For anything outside of truth is chaos.

    I m totally lost here. I m not an expert on this subject i m just saying things that are there in the real world.

    And you aren't wrong in your perception. Ignorance does exist, but only because their knowledge or lack there of goes against what is true.
