hey guys, I'm not new to nofap however I am new to writing my thoughts down and sharing it with a supportive community. I started fapping and smoking weed around grade 8 until present day. I believe fapping traumatized my brain's dopamine system giving me heavy anxiety over time and had great difficulty with concentration. All this resulted in me picking up a smoking habit as well and was regularly chain smoking cigarettes when I was 20 years old. I already have confidence on my self control abilities for i was able to give up cigarettes cold turkey as soon as 2017 started. After i ran into nofap I reflected as to why i always had no energy compared to the other kids at school and my grades were also super low. The worse damage I have suffered was erectile dysfunction, not even PIED and this motivated me to really stop fapping. I am now successfully on day 5 of NOFAP and I will never turn back, my only goal is to keep moving forward and I am willing to go through hell to heal and recover

Welcome to NoFap mate. You have taken the right decision to quit porn and take your life back into your control. Nice to have such a positive outlook moving ahead.

I was into weed as well, but gave it up a month ago and that seems to be one of the important decisions I have taken.

As you have already quit cigarettes, I think you can successfully quit porn too. But be aware of the roadblocks ahead, and don't give in to your urges.

    Cheers

  3. Wow. Some say that quitting cigarettes is the hardest thing anyone can do. I say it's quitting porn but hey, you are still a champion! If you can kick smoking you have the inner power to do this. I may just take the same willpower and effort.

Also stopped smoking cold turkey.. And if I was to compare the two of them, fapping is by far the hardest one to stop! But if you had the experience of quitting smoking you know better what is up ahead! Keep up the good work and best of luck!
