Overly attatched

So before this journey, wich started about a year ago for me, i was your average nice and shy guy, who would spend hours and hours each day watching porn and gaming.
I had little to none real experience with real girls, but i would often find myself enfatuated with a girl (of course i never tried anything, and i allways ended up befriending them just to get close) and i had my little heart broken many times, over stuff that never really happened. I lived in my own head.

Now this year i lost my virginity in the most exotic way you could imagine, i had a few sexual encounters, and until recently, i was dating a girl i liked. The thing is that at some point i left that clingy fucker behind me, and i am grateful for it, but at the same time i miss the "in love" feeling, wich of course wasnt real, since i didnt know enough these girls to be in love, but still.

I was wondering if any of you guys went through a simillar process, and if so, did it ever change?
