    Hello. My name's Trey. I'm a Freshman in H.S.
    Anyways, I've come to the conclusion that masturbating with porn excessively is the reason 1. My erections don't feel as.. Hard as it once was and 2. It makes me soo tired throughout the day.
    So, could someone tell me some ideas to stop my addiction like right away? I want to stop tonight but I can't think clear so I have no idea. Right now, my goal is 3 days because it will be very hard at first considering the fact It's soo hard to fall asleep without beating it using porn. Later, it'll be a month at a time. So, any ideas? Thanks for all your time.

    Welcome to nofap!
    I'm new like you (only been a member for a few days) and I found the first night terrible. I usually PMO(porn masterbate orgasm) to fall asleep at night because it relaxes me and tires me out. Without that I was staring at the celling for a few hours before I could finally fall asleep. The second night I found very similar, so I decided I change things up. What worked for me was listening to a quiet talk show to keep my brain occupied instead I thinking about PMO. It worked pretty well. The only other thing I could recommend is finding other ways to relax yourself, listening to rain falling or some easy going music.

    Thanks man I'll try that. To be honest, I failed... The hardest part for me is getting to sleep the first night. It took me an hour and a half in bed until I lost PMO'ed or whatever it's called. I'm sure most people would rather just PMO and be in asleep in like, 10 min rather then not wanking and trying to sleep it can take soo long like an hour. Thanks for replying bro

    All good man, everyone relapses at some point or another its human nature. What matters is that you get up and keep trying again until it sticks. Edging is still releasing Dopamine to the brain, its still considered masturbating. Another thing is that it isn't healthy to work yourself up without releasing, nothing good came of teasing yourself. A lot of times Edging is Accompanied with PMO. Id start my by looking around the forms and getting to know the community. posting on forms with good advice and asking questions yourself.     Alright thx for that info, will do. Wow now that's interesting. I always thought dopamine and all those chemicals stuff only released when you orgasm? I see your point, getting all worked up and them stopping it out of nowhere. Think it's a good idea to try to start this tonight? I'll try, but I have 3 major tests tomorrow, and I need as much sleep as I can get..

    Dopamine is released over a lot of thing we Don't quite realize, even looking a smokin hot babes triggers a release, that's why its no PMO (I'd check out the form I posted it has a few good videos about it, if not though at least watch this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSF82AwSDiU). Don't start if you have the thought that you might relapse. If you have important things to do in the morning and its going to keep you from your much needed sleep I wouldn't start it tonight. Look at your schedule and plan out a time to quit (I don't know you that well but you will have a rough time sleeping from 2-10 ish days after stopping). But make sure you have a plan, if you don't you will procrastinate; that's one of the problems with having an addiction.

    Make your plan when to start, and good luck on the tests tomorrow!

    I didn't PMO last night, or today! Wow I'm impressed with myself.. Trying not to tonight either. Almost day 2 already... When does the urge to PMO get at you the hardest/worst? Or different for everyone?

    Good job! I knew you could do it!
    Of course its different for everyone, But in general the first few nights are the hardest. If you can get through the first week you it gets easier fast. For me personally the only reason I've been tempted is to blow off stress, so around exam time I think it will be the hardest.
