A big THANK YOU to all the amazing SO's ... specifically these 13 brave, helpful souls: @Kenzi, @EyesWideOpen, @AnonymousAnnaXOXO, @Sadgirl, @Broken3, @Qnb42078, @LizzyBlanca, @Jennica, @jrbcoug11, @A new day, @TryingToHeal, @self healing, @SpouseofPA Each of you have encouraged me / offered advice and comfort / sometimes called me on the carpet. Some of you have only commented once or twice on my journal or threads .. many of you have spoken into my life dozens of times over the last two months (all the while dealing with your own painful, difficult circumstances). I cannot imagine this NoFap community with you, the SO's.
Awww I love reading your posts because you really GET IT and you really want to make this work with your wife even when she isn't giving you much to go on (understandably). You have started some awesome threads and you really think things through, it seems. I am thankful for the PAs here that help me see things from my husband's perspective a lot of times as well. That has been incredibly helpful to me. @TryingHard2Change @anewhope @phuck-porn! @SuperFan @DemonSemen @Thor god of thunder @kropo82 @vxlccm @noexcuses and lately I've also really enjoyed reading @NF4L & @RecoveringLion 's posts. I am sure there are more, that is just what I can remember right now. And of course I love the SOs, too! You guys have helped beyond what words could have expressed. You have been truly life changing in my life, to have people that understand what I'm going through and how it has shattered my world. Thank you.
This is really sweet of you! Thank you for being receptive and also encouraging and supportive to me and the other SOs here as well. You are one of the good guys, it’s apparent in your story. Yes we are all here because we’re broken in one way or another but the journey of selfimprovement matters. I know God has great things for you. Keep up the good work friend!
Thanks @TryingToHeal and @Broken3 ... "good" is relative and I have many, many faults -- I _am_ a PA on here after all. .. Yes, I am seeking to change (finally, after 21 years) .. and I have a lot more hard work to do and a long, long way to go. But I am so, so grateful for NoFap and all the positive influences on me here (both PA's and SO's!)
What a beautiful notification to receive. Thank you so much @TryingHard2Change for acknowledging all of us who have contributed to your journey. One of the reasons that I find this forum so amazing is the chance for SOs and PAs to share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and to learn from one another. I see much of my husband in your posts and you have helped me to have more empathy for him and we both thank you for your honesty and vulnerability. My hope is that my journal and contributions can help PAs to have more empathy and understanding of a SO perspective and if it can help one person in any small way I am grateful. I am grateful that you are here and I can see glimmers of hope for you and your wife and I am really pulling for you both.
Yes, thank you. Thank you @TryingHard2Change for sending those Help Her Heal vids. Thank you for being one of the PA's who try hard despite all odds. Your posts give me hope, hope that PA's will get the damage, they will take ownership, they will be honest, and they will change and become a better person, a person who wants to be free of addiction.
Thank you @TryingHard2Change for always being so inspiring, for always trying to learn, for always keeping an open mind. You are inquisitive and caring about your wife and I truly hope everything works out for you. I truly feel like your attitude around here inspires everybody to be their best. Thank you for this lovely message. I wish you the best.
Thank you @TryingHard2Change. This is an amazing place and everyone here has something powerful to the bring to the table in so many areas of help and support. I’m truly grateful for stumbling into NoFap.
