To be honest...I don't really care to write my story. Just don't have enough time to think about it and write it down. Long story short...I tried and failed dozens and dozens of times over the years. Until I made a commitment, that is when everything changed and I beat the habit.

Make a fucking commitment to yourself to not masturbate or watch porn ever again. Keep on reminding yourself every dam day. Its funny now I can immediately tell who will be successful and who will fail just from people's post with about 90% certainty in this forum. People say forever? but that is really long... enjoy failing dude.

It is very easy once you decide to give it up for good. You cannot do it through willpower alone. You are fighting your biological drive. Good luck with that. You have to make a commitment and remind yourself all the time esp when the urges come. When they do in the first half of no pmo, gtfo out of the house and around people.

You also need to meditate and substitute your old behavior with other ones. There will be a black hole sucking you back if you don't. But back to meditation, it is highly important because It creates space around your urges and separates your awareness from the urge to realize what it is and to think differently. You are no longer identified with the urges and totally consumed by it. With meditation it gives you awareness to recognize when the urges hit. There is also lots of spiritual benefits to it. The more you do it, the more you get out of it.

The urges never really go away as far as I am concerned. Maybe in five years when my brain changes completely who knows. But I am tired of that way of life. I feel incredible and have lots of regret from the habit of jacking off and watching porn for so long. It made me not feel emotions, and not really do anything in life. But oh well, that is the past now and I will no longer let it affect me.

Tons of benefits and they are directly related to how long you hold your juice in. Semen retention is very powerful and 100% spiritual rocket fuel.

The biggest power is massive self-confidence in my ability to achieve anything I fucking want. I am taking huge business/financial risk I would of never done before no pmo. I am living life on my own terms and it is the best power by far. I wish everyone had this and lived their life to the fullest. It is amazing how many people live in fear. Nearly everyone I know. What is the worst that can happen if you fail? You become homeless? That really isnt that bad. There is a huge blanket of security within the US government that keeps you away from that, that is accessible to every citizen. I have seen both in my life..rich and poor.

Back to no pmo, you can make this work because if I can do it, so can you. Good luck and see you on the other side!

  5. I’m at 85 days and amazing how your thoughts from paragraph 1 onward resonated perfectly. The commitment to stop P forever was exactly what made the difference in my case over a long past of resets.

The comments on meditation, and that ability to separate awareness from sensation (urge) has been a critical factor. For those who have not meditated, this ability is not hard to develop once you start meditating consistently for a couple weeks. Its the easiest way I know how to isolate an urge -- which is valuable for taking healthy action.
