hello guys... i am 20 yrs.old and i think i am addicted to musturbation so i want to control myself and stop it if possible because it prevents me to do things i supposed to do and also it lowers my self confidence. I tried to download apps that will block pornsites because i think watching porn triggers me to musturbate more, but i end up disabling it due to my urge to watch. i feel hopeless 'till i found this site so I really hope that this will help me to achieve my goal though i am not sure how this site work but i really want to stop my addiction. I am looking forward to tips from you guys thanks...

  2. Man, I think those site blockers are bullshit. I mean, you're just gonna go and disable it anyway. What's the point? Hahaha, seriously? Anyway, I've been trying NoFap for about 6 months or so and I'd start off by saying it's normal to fail. Failure is honestly a part of the process. As long as you keep trying, you'll succeed. That doesn't give you free reign to pmo whenever you want. You do have to try, but the thing is, you have to REALLY want it. I've only made it 13 days or so at most, but I just kept trying. The other day I just realized how fucking tired I am of it and I'm 6 days in. It's not that impressive, but it's a start. I've found that taking it one day at a time is the best way to go. You also have to figure out what you're really trying to abstain from. Are you wanting to quit porn or masturbation? Since you said you're addicted to masturbation I'd recommend you start the 7 day challenge and see how that goes.

There's a book called 'Mating in Captivity' by Ester Perril, if you are interested in the underlying psychological aspects of performing in the bedroom.

  4. You might have a spyware on your computer. I have had those moments and my virus guard couldn't get rid of it so in these moments I save all important documents to an external hard drive and reboot the computer to factory conditions. Because it's not worth the risk of having a spyware or malware on your computer.

  7. Welcome!

The porn blockers were worthless for me. The urge would get so strong it was no problem finding a way around them. My addiction is so bad I finally started going to professional counseling and it’s been a big help.

Hope you’ll read through the different threads here and get some good advice. This website has been a great help for me so far.
