Some parts he is right ("porn addiction is not a problem it is a symptom of underlying problem") others he is totally wrong (everybody on nofap is lying about the benefits) etc

I agree with a lot he says. Like when he says how many people exaggerate the benefits of nofap or the negatives of porn. Many base their entire life and everything happens on porn. "I'm like this because I watched porn, this happened to me because I stopped watching porn" etc. There are too many variables in life having an impact on you to simply base everything around porn. Nofap is just a tool to inspire big changes to your life, it doesn't transform people by itself - which a lot of nofappers say it does, it is a snowball effect. A catalyst for other positive changes. That's just my opinion.

I also agree how he says nofap can become an addiction in itself. I've fallen victim to this myself. Sometimes i'm so obsessed about not fapping that I am wasting more of my creative energy than if I was still busting. He then says by fapping and getting it "over with" he can then concentrate on the stuff that matters for the rest of the day without having to deal with sexual frustration. Whilst this is a fair point, fapping can also drain people's energy and motivation so this method all depends on the individual.

What do you think about people apparently lying about benefits? Sometimes I think so as well.

I wouldn't say they are "lying" but perhaps exaggerating. When I hear people saying they have "cured their social anxiety" or "become more attractive" they often say it is solely due to nofap. I disagree. Nofap gives them the energy, time and inspiration to make these "superpower" changes but it won't do it by itself.
You don't cure anxiety or become more confident just by choosing not to fap, you have to make other changes to your life as well and I think some nofappers don't realise they're making these other changes and therefore think its all down to nofap.
