First few weeks are the hardest, but after a while it becomes smooth sailing. Few tips that I discovered on my own: 1. Masturbation without porn does not help at all. It is actually easier to stop both porn and masturbating without porn. 2. There's a strong desire to masturbate on the day after particularly good real sex. Don't do it. Just don't. 3. After I quit porn, I happened to demand more attention from my wife, and she got pretty tired of it in short order. We decided that the Weekends and Wednesday are my days, and on the rest of days she gets all the attention she wants (including massage, etc.) but no sexual advances of any sort from my side. We thought it would be weird, but it has worked out beyond all expectations for both of us.

Thanks on the advice on masturbation without porn. I initially thought that it would de-escelate the addiction but in reality you need to reboot first, otherwise masturbation is just a continuation onto PMO.

I have to agree. Masturbation after real sex isn't helping at all if when you are doing this programme. I tried that three times and always was wondering what goes wrong... Keep up the appetite for the real thing. The body will remember and the girl probably too.
