Captain Rex reporting. So recently, I started playing the infamous MMO called World of Warcraft again because I just couldn't stop thinking about it. It wasn't necessarily a relapse but I just wanted to play again. I hadn't played in almost a year so I was super excited when I resubbed to the game. I had a blast playing the game because it had been such a long time since I last played around March 2017. So, I was just thinking, will WoW begin to affect my lifestyle in the future? I have no problem taking this game in moderation, it's not that hard btw. I'm probably going to get replies saying I should quit because a lot of fapstronauts hate on WoW because of it's addictive nature. So, do you think I should quit WoW or try to take the game in moderation? Even though the game is addictive, I still do my morning and evening rituals, workout, etc. Plus, like I said, I'm able to take the game in moderation. So, what do you think about WoW? Any former WoW addicts in this forum? I'd like to hear your replies. Captain Rex out.
If WOW is your former addiction, I’d be extremely careful with it. Make sure to have a firm set schedule time for it that you don’t exceed. There’s nothing bad about relaxing with what you like every now and then, but make sure it doesn’t take over your life either.
Thanks. I never really been addicted to this game before. I played this game on and off for most of my life and I never got addicted to it. I still had an active social life back then but the real addiction I had was PMO. That was when my life started descending to hell but I digress. I'll still be careful when I play the game though. I'm still gonna try to take breaks like after a dungeon or something like that. I'll still be improving myself in the real world and not just in the game because after all, my life matters more than gearing up and doing mythic raids and getting badass mounts!
If u can take it into moderation why not? i know for myself that i can't... i have been a gamer for as long as i can remember and i've Always gamed +12 hours everyday. i still do tbh... . gaming is actually a bigger addiction for me then porn.
I play Runescape 17 hours a day when not working and also play it at work, but I work at Jagex the company who owns Runescape so I can get away with it lol. I guess just don’t let it take over your life, with Runescape I found myself gradually increasing the hours played every day until eventually I can’t go 2 hours not playing without being able to get the urge and thought out of my mind. My Runescape addiction is worse than my tug addiction lol
