Hey, I'm Tea. I'm only 18, but I've been masturbating for at least 6-7 years, and watching porn for about 4 of those.

I always felt really guilty about it, but I just tried to justify what I was doing by saying things like, "It relieves stress," or, "It's a great way to unwind after a stressful day."

What I didn't realize until now was that it's kind of taking over my whole life. I've started using porn to escape any problems or negative emotions I have instead of dealing with them head-on. I've become almost too relaxed; I'm constantly lazy, making excuses not to go out, and all of my free time is being taken up by this addiction.

It's gotten so bad that I can masturbate up to four times a day, every day. It's really wrecking my relationships and even my friendships to some extent. I just want to fix this before it becomes my life.

So I guess, here goes. Day 1.

    Hey man
Remember the first and most important step is admitting the problem, thus from there on changes begin.
You can do it, begin doing other stuff in your spare time like working out, playing music or whatever excites you.
Remember to believe in yourself, you can do this, you truly deserve a better life. You are more worthy than porn and you are powerfull
    Good luck bro!:)

Hi Cammie and welcome the the site!

You should pay a visit to Anne Dauphine, our female fapstronaut expert:

To find a good AP I recommend you to start reading journals and post and when you find someone that you see is more or less in the same line with your views, you should send him a PM (private message). At that's what I did to get in contact with my APs. That's the great part of NoFap: there's a place for everyone here, from all different backgrounds and beliefs.

Here's my "starter's kit": a recopilation of the best resources that got me to where I'm now: more than 6 months free of PMO, and more than 3 months free of MO, with only two relapses since I started.

Please take a look at them and adapt them to your own needs and habits.

At my signature you'll find several links with the best resources that I've found as an active member of this community (since the beginning of 2014), along with documents that I've created both to comprehend the nature of addiction and to develop strategies to overcome it.
