Hey all! Im new here to the community (as obvious as it is) but I'm not so new to the idea of all this. I've been struggling with PMO for a long time, since my youth almost 15 years ago, and have known for a long time that I couldn't live like I have forever. I dont know if I'd say I've been addicted but being socially shy led it to be a regular habit. The click occurred a few years back and I slowly started to make changes until about a year and a half ago when I decided to stop half accepting it and go full in for a permanent change.

In the last year or so I've been through many stages, "relapses", growth and new perceptions on life. I'm happy with where I've gotten and find that I am in control of my habits as difficult as the transition was. I found this community randomly searching through articles and want to connect/share experiences for something I rejected and delt with alone for a long time. I also want to go for some new challenges to keep improving and get to my eventual goal of no porn ever again.

Anyways that's a little about me. If anyone has some ideas on challenges to join let me know.

The fact that you started to make a change without this site in the first place is rather impressive; I believe you'll do well here.

I haven't had much experience with the entire forum yet but I joined a "Monthly Challenge" in the "Rebooting" section and so far it's proved invaluable. The challenge keeps me competitive and I've kept going through the entire month without a relapse. I've beaten my old record of 18 days and every second I go by now is a new high score. I would definitely recommend joining in on it. :)

Good luck and stay strong. :)
