How I've completely lost my social skills

You can say anything dude. If I am brutally honest, It is because you are filtering yourself in your head and not allowing yourself to be free flowing. You're afraid you people not liking you by showing your true self.

For me, for instance, when I talk to women, I have a very morbid, sexual sense of humour as well as loving debating and science. This is what interests me so that's what I talk about. I am not afraid to make a joke with the chance of offending a girl because if she doesn't like it, we wouldn't get along anyway.

I am me, to the core, and some girls don't like that and some girls love it. I'd rather have a few love me then everyone like me. Not to be cliche, but just be you.

Think about when you with your guy friends, are you ever stifled? Probably not. Just say what comes to your mind.

Also another good trick to do at home is to say a random sentence. Then take one word out of that sentence and talk about for 30 seconds. Then take a word out of your last sentence and so on. Soon you will have what the pimps call a "Million dollar mouthpiece".

Just thought I'd comment about your post with a little advice...

Don't worry about it. Don't stress about it. Take care of yourself, get clean from PMO, focus on your studies, exercise, learn a new skill, start a new hobby... Fill up your life with good things and be happy, and the girls will find you, and you'll have lots of things to talk about.

You've watched porn and you've gotten used to how women in the movies act... It's an act, and you really don't want a relationship that is all an act.

Real life is much better.

So relax.

Personally, I find it better if you don't have a predetermined conversation in mind. When ever me and my girlfriend hang out, it always a pretty freeflowing conversation. The best thing to do is to find something funny to talk about, while she might not think you an intellectual based on certain jokes, make sure to give her some hint of intelligence.

The best way to keep a conversation going is to spring off of what she says, it gives her a sense of comfort in that she knows you're listening and that you're easy to relate to.

Also, just be confident. I used to be really timid and really shy, but I'm getting better. Don't be arrogant, just make sure whoever you're talking to gets the idea you have a strong personality and that you're decisive.
