Hey @robs66, I also joined nofap a ways into my streak (I lurked for a whille too). I think I was just under 30 days. Anyways, 50 days is execellent streak! Great job! Best of luck to you. I think being active on the board helps a lot.
Nice man, what's you goal. My targets 100 days before i start having sex. I don't think i'd ever go back to fapping.
My goals were a little different. I joined the board because I had some specific questions for a specific person on here. It brought me out of my lurking. My goal was only about 30 days PMO free and then no more PM ever. So far I’ve only had S once, but this weekend will change that. I’m glad I did join however, because I’m sure talking to people on here has helped me tremendously. That’s not typically what is recommended though and my recovery may take longer, but I would like to think I’m past the point where I will relapse for me personally. I know I still need to be constantly vigilant though, so don’t think I have a relaxed attitude about it. This is only because I am tremendously happy with a lot of my side effects of giving up P&M. My social anxiety has decreased by 80%, and I talk to and meet new people regularly, which I hardly ever did before. This is huge to me. Add to it less brain fog, being able to finish with a girl, and more energy, among other things. Anyway, my question may have brought me out of my lurking, but my decreased anxiety and the great people and resources here keep me around. 100 days is a great goal. Most people will see amazing results by then.
I am 30 years also. My first streak is 150 days when I was 20 years old. In that time I was different person from now. I was smarter and have strong mentality. My second streak is 40 days and it was 4 years ago. no other strikes except 14 days here and there and relapse again. This time I really want to break my first one, So I am here with you on NoFap to get help. Thanks for your post you encouraged me.
