Porn addiction

Am from Nigeria, my name is oluwafemi. I'm a Christian. I've been trusting God to deliver me from my porn addiction, and sometimes it just seems as if nothing is working. But I believe he's in control.

 

Welcome to the community. I do believe God, the creator, or what any religion names him/her, wants us to improve and will help us through things like this. I have heard many times to give it to God, or something along those lines. While this is great I feel like we also need to do as much as we can ourselves.
With this in mind I would encourage you to read, learn and start to make your plan to be rid of this problem, with your beliefs in mind.

 

I have tried all of these. I've watched videos on YouTube, read books. Prayed. But it's as if am the only one going through the struggle!

 

Remember, you are not alone, not the only one going through this. Even just the member count on this site is over 195,000 people and that is small compared to the amount of people in the world who deal with this.
